Potato Crisprs are a product of decades of genetic research, which has been focused on the goal of making the Perfect Potato, leading to the perfect potato chip. Potato Crisprs have enhanced characteristics in three categories: nutrition, flavor, and growing & durability. 

For nutrition, we’ve enhanced the levels of Vitamin A & C, protein, calcium, iron,, potassium, and fiber while lowering carbohydrate content to make for a totally guilt free, healthy snack. Our Perfect Potatoes start out loaded with nutrients that are largely preserved in the final chip product. These potatoes also have natural fat content bred into them which means we can bake these chips and get them just as crispy as if they were deep fried in oil. 

Flavor wise, we’ve maxed out the expression of potato flavor to make for a chip that tastes more like a potato than any other chip on the market. Eating a Potato Crispr for the first time is akin to your first time tasting the true beauty of an heirloom tomato versus a hothouse one. We didn’t stop there, for our flavored chips we wanted to avoid having to add seasonings loaded with chemicals and artificial flavors. So, we edited the NDA of our potatoes to express the natural flavor notes of Ranch and sour cream & onion, two of the most popular chip flavors around. No need to add Ranch flavor when you’re starting with a Ranch flavored potato!

Finally, Potato Crisprs have been designed to grow faster and more efficiently on the farm, which means always low prices for you and a kinder, gentler impact on our environment. Our Perfect Potatoes grow in half the amount of time as conventional potatoes as a result of supercharging the photosynthetic mechanism in the plant. The potatoes also require drastically lower amounts of water to grow and have increased resistance to disease and pests.
