It reveals painfully how corrupt and broken the market is. We have too much food. Almost none of it is priced accurately to its value. The reasons people are hungry have nothing to do with the availability of food.
Just an FYI, Prediction Markets and Sports Betting sites are treated differently from a tax standpoint here in the States, even if we loosely consider them both "gambling" they are looked at differently with predictions platforms subject to less if any insider trading regulations.
